Gemini Zodiac Tattoos

tattoo designs

Gemini zodiac tattoos are great for Geminis – the astrological sign for people born between May 22nd and June 23rd – or if you want to pay tribute to a special Gemini in your life. There are twelve signs of the zodiac, and Gemini is no different: associated with the Greek twin gods Apollo and Artemis, the dual nature of the sign is represented by the image of twins.

Part of getting Gemini zodiac tattoos is paying tribute to one’s astrological sign. It’s been said that knowing and researching one’s sign leads to a life filled with harmony. Getting a tattoo with your astrological sign shows the world that you know who you are, and you know how your sign affects you. Additionally, Gemini zodiac tattoos can serve as a reminder, especially if placed in a prominent place.

When it comes to choosing the Gemini-inspired tattoo that fits you best, it’s important to know what images symbolize the sign. For example, you could get a tattoo of the Gemini constellation or you could find a tattoo inspired by the sign’s characteristic image of twins.

Gemini zodiac tattoos can also be more experimental, especially if one chooses images based around a Gemini’s traits. Gemini’s are well known for being adaptable, being indecisive – which links back to the twins aspect of the sign – and being lively and inconsistent. Roses are another symbol associated with Gemini’s and many people have decided to incorporate this into their Gemini zodiac tattoos.

Some people like to take their zodiac tattoos literally: they spell the word Gemini out on their body or use the astrological sign for Gemini. Other people like to combine their sun and moon sign with their birth charts. It’s always important to think about the size of the tattoo: if you want a discreet Gemini zodiac tattoo, it might be best to get the zodiac astrological sign printed somewhere like the foot or wrist, and if you want a tattoo that will be noticed, one large in size, consider a tattoo on the shoulders or calf.

Additional information about the Gemini sign:

  • Gemini Horoscope Ruling Planet: Mercury - symbol of communication.

  • Flower: marigold, orchid, rose

  • Gemstone: agate

  • Color: silver, gray, yellow, orange, green

  • Day: Wednesday

  • Number: Five

  • Element: Air

Still not quite sure what to get for your Gemini zodiac tattoo? You could combine the Gemini symbol with the Chinese astrological art of the particular animal that represents you, which of course are broken down by the year you were born. Pairing up your birth date with your zodiac sign would be a very personal and unique Gemini zodiac tattoo.

Cute Fairy Tattoos

Looking at the meanings of “good” and “evil”; we see a balance in many things around us. In our lives we want to make sure there is a level of balance. One way that many want to show this is through the art of tattooing a representation of angel devil tattoos. But, this symbol doesn’t represent balance in its meanings. After extensive research of this particular symbol it was actually interesting to find out the meanings behind the angel devil tattoos.

Angels have always been looked upon as guardians, symbols of protection, keepers of our dreams. In many religions, the angel is looked upon as a symbol of “good”. In tattooing, the Angel can be a simple design, a pair of wings with a small person, or an angel symbol that was designed by an artist. It can be as elaborate as a painting done by Van Gough or Michael Angelo. These are labor intensive and take days, week, or years to complete.

In the beginning, “Lucifer” an archangel was the first angel that was looked upon by God as an equal. But, Lucifer’s vanity and weakness became his curse. And thus, Lucifer became known as “evil” or a devil. But, in the world of tattooing, a devil has other meanings, for example the devil can be a representation of desire and symbolize an intense sexual being. Many people are drawn to the devil because of this.

The desire to feel intensely sexual will draw many people to angel devil tattoos. They want to feel powerful in their own sexuality and they want other people to be aware of this. At the same time, the wings of an angel incorporated into angel devil tattoos can give people a sense of protection and comfort.

For men the attraction to angel devil tattoos can by to symbolize strength and give off the “bad boy” image. The urge to let women know they can be both good and bad. For women angle devil tattoos can make them feel that they are sexually desired but protected at the same time.

This empowerment of balance is becoming more popular. In today’s society it is almost a necessity for everyone to feel balanced. However you interpret angel devil tattoos, it’s important to remember to have fun with it and most importantly, make it about YOU.
